1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, purchasing a membership, reserving a room, joining an interest list, or using Meet at The Shop, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the website, booking system, memberships, or physical space.

2. Services

Meet at The Shop provides memberships, reservable rooms, workspace access, and related business amenities for lawful professional, business, and educational use.

All services are subject to availability, posted policies, pricing, and operational needs.

3. Accounts and Memberships

You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and current.

You are also responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

Accounts may not be shared unless a specific membership or reservation type allows it.

Membership details, pricing, included benefits, and access rules are based on the active listing or agreement in effect at the time of signup.

4. Reservations and Bookings

Room reservations are subject to availability.

A reservation is not confirmed until it appears as confirmed in the booking system or is otherwise confirmed by Meet at The Shop.

We may decline, reschedule, modify, or cancel a reservation if:

the requested use conflicts with these terms or posted policies

the room becomes unavailable due to maintenance, safety, or operational reasons

the booking information is incomplete or inaccurate

payment or account issues need to be resolved

You are responsible for selecting the correct room, date, and time.

5. Payments and Billing

Fees for memberships, room reservations, and related services are due as stated at checkout, by invoice, or in the active membership agreement.

By providing payment information, you authorize Meet at The Shop to charge applicable fees, recurring membership fees, taxes if applicable, and approved add-on charges.

Failed or overdue payments may result in suspension of booking access, suspension of membership benefits, cancellation of future reservations, or collection of unpaid balances as allowed by law.

6. Membership Changes and Cancellation

Recurring memberships continue until canceled according to the membership terms in effect at the time of signup.

Unless a specific membership states otherwise, cancellation requests should be submitted before the next billing cycle to avoid the next recurring charge.

Membership changes, pauses, transfers, or special exceptions are handled at Meet at The Shop’s discretion unless a written policy states otherwise.

7. Use of the Space

You agree to use the space respectfully, professionally, and lawfully.

The following are not allowed:

illegal activity

unsafe activity

disruptive behavior

harassment or threatening conduct

excessive noise outside the reserved use of a room

damage to furniture, fixtures, equipment, or the building

use that violates occupancy or safety limits

unauthorized access to restricted areas

We may remove or restrict access for anyone whose behavior creates safety, operational, or community concerns.

8. Guests and Room Capacity

Guests and clients are allowed only as appropriate for the reservation or membership type being used.

The member or reserving user is responsible for the conduct of guests, clients, contractors, or attendees associated with that booking.

Guest counts must stay within posted room capacity limits.

9. Amenities and Shared Services

Wi-Fi, printing, coffee, and other shared amenities are provided as a convenience when included with a membership or reservation.

These services may be limited, interrupted, changed, or discontinued due to maintenance, supply issues, technical issues, or operational changes.

10. Personal Property and Security

You are responsible for your own personal property while using the space.

Meet at The Shop is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items except where required by law.

You may not share access codes, keys, login credentials, or other access tools without permission.

11. Damage and Liability

You are responsible for damage caused by you or your guests, clients, or attendees.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Meet at The Shop is not liable for business interruption, lost profits, lost data, or indirect damages arising from use of the space, booking system, internet access, or service interruptions.

Use of the space is at your own risk except where liability cannot be limited by law.

12. Right to Refuse or Terminate Access

Meet at The Shop may refuse, suspend, or terminate memberships, reservations, or access if a user:

violates these terms or posted policies

fails to pay required fees

misuses the booking system

creates safety, legal, or operational concerns

uses the space in a way that conflicts with the intended business purpose of the space

When appropriate, notice and an opportunity to correct the issue may be provided before action is taken.

13. Accuracy of Website and Booking Information

Meet at The Shop works to keep website, pricing, room details, and booking information accurate, but errors may occur.

We reserve the right to correct errors and update listings, pricing, descriptions, availability, and policies without liability for outdated or mistaken information.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Alaska, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where another law is required to apply.
